Jinyuan Chen was born in Shanghai, China—a city known for being at the forefront of tennis development in the country. At the age of 10, he picked up a racquet for the first time and began his tennis journey under the guidance of a highly respected local coach who had trained several professional players.

With natural talent and deep passion, Jinyuan quickly stood out. His coach, recognizing both his ability and dedication, trained him with great care and passed down not only advanced playing techniques but also the foundations of high-quality coaching.
