May 25, 2025 – Building Coordination, Flexibility & Injury Prevention After Serve Class
Following their exciting first serving lesson on Sunday morning, May 25th, our junior players transitioned into a focused post-training stretching session designed to support their physical development and long-term athletic health.
Led by our experienced coaching team, the kids were guided through a series of dynamic and static stretches targeting the shoulders, arms, core, and legs — all essential muscle groups used in serving. This wasn’t just about cooling down — it was about teaching young athletes how to take care of their bodies like professionals do.
The session helped improve their coordination, balance, and flexibility, while also reinforcing the importance of injury prevention from a young age. Many students said it was their first time doing such deep stretches, and were excited to learn new ways to support their tennis training.
💬 One student remarked with a grin,
"I didn’t know stretching could feel so good after hitting big serves!"
At Roger Tennis Club, we believe in developing well-rounded athletes, not just good tennis players — and that includes strong, healthy bodies that are ready to grow with the game.
